About Simone Pond

Before launching the bestselling Cafe Crimes cozy mystery series as Simone Stier, I wrote dystopian and fantasy novels under the pen name Simone Pond. Inspired by the character Amy Pond from the television series Doctor Who, I adopted the name to reflect my love for bold, adventurous storytelling. Under this pen name, I published several speculative fiction books that explore themes of survival, rebellion and resilience. These earlier works continue to connect with fans of dystopian series and contempory urban fantasy. My first book, The City Center, won an award for Readers Choice in Dysoptian Fiction.
